Designed with my own mother in mind, the Expanding Heart necklace brings together two design approaches - hers, maximal and sentimental; mine, minimal and quietly expressive. Inspired in part by Ernst Haeckel’s natural shell drawings, the heart is reimagined as a geometric form: layered outlines that grow outward in scale, a visual representation of how love expands with each person we welcome into our lives.
Triangle-shaped diamonds add an additional glow - like light reflecting outward. The underside offers space for engraving: names, words, or sentiments from those who expand your heart.
Chain measures 18 inches in length.
Made from 18k yellow gold and FVVS lab grown white diamonds. All our stone pieces can be created in natural diamonds upon request.

The fabric for our pouches is sourced from one-of-a-kind, vintage Japanese silk kimono deadstock. Each pouch is hand-sewn by a mother in our family.
