Egg Drop Necklace Brass

The Egg Drop Necklace is a sculptural pendant in warm, solid brass, suspended from a leather rope cord with brass-tipped ends. Inspired by the quiet power of the egg - symbol of life, creation, and transformation - it echoes both natural form and the negative space found in the work of Barbara Hepworth.

A dialogue between interior and exterior, presence and absence.

Brass is a living, changing material that patinas beautifully with age. Wear it tied short or long, single or doubled. It can also be styled as an accessory - looped onto a bag, through belt loops, or worn at the waist.

Materials

Ouvelle works exclusively in materials made to last - 18k gold, sterling silver, diamonds, and natural stones including jade, lapis, and malachite. 18k is our gold of choice as it is the closest to gold in its purest form, with the durability fine jewelry demands. We don't work with anything that wears off. Each material is chosen for how it performs over time and how it ages naturally.

Packaging

Ouvelle jewelry is packaged in our signature vintage kimono pouches.

The fabric for our pouches is sourced from one-of-a-kind, vintage Japanese silk kimono deadstock. Each pouch is hand-sewn by a mother in our family. Once a kimono is used, that particular pattern will never be repeated - each run is limited, making every pouch as unique and considered as the piece it holds. Discover more.
